The warlock's small hands teasing him so caused Zakk to blissfully shiver as the muscles of his abdomen tightened in reaction. Despite all the innuendo and flirting between them - this was only the second time they shared such intimacy. The Demon Hunter had reached over for the scented bottle that had the oily soap to wash his hair, but had stopped due to this nice distraction.
Zakkarius's lips quirked into a small smile at Toni's words, and rested his forehead against hers with a soft pleased noise when she bumped against him. He managed to nip briefly against her lips before she backed away - the gesture almost playful.
Leaning against the back of the tub, the night elf reached taloned fingers towards the bottle of shampoo once more, only to stop in mid-motion as Toni bent forward to tease at the tip of his now hard length with her mouth. He uttered a soft rumble of a growl as his head tilted back, shampoo forgotten.
"M'shala, you tease me so..." He moved his hand to slide fingers through her wet hair. Her actions felt nice, but he was ultimately concerned for her safety and comfort. The size difference between them was not lost on him. "I hope this means that you will let me taste you...." Since he had helped her that first time, he couldn't get the deliciousness of her scent out of his memory.
As Khadgar curled closer to Zakk's body, the Demon hunter quivered at the other man's touch. A muscle twitched in the night elf's jaw as his chest heaved once in a brief sigh, the breath shuddering in his lungs. Despite his mana being drained, the scent of the silver haired Archmage almost made his mouth water. Fel and Ashes....
Zakkarius was silent and didn't say a word as he tilted his ravaged face away from Khadgar and temptation. It was difficult to tell from his expression, but the Demon Hunter seemed subdued and withdrawn into himself. A technique similar to meditation to keep the demon's lust at bay.
After a lengthy silence, with no sound except for the constant drip of water, Khadgar's voice breaking through it caused Zakk to twitch slightly.
Registering the question, Zakkarius grunted a sound between a snort and a growl.
"If you are wanting to ask me if I am horny as fuck, the answer is yes.."
Zakkarius arrived at the inn next to the Greyfang Enclave at the appointed time.
The Demon Hunter wasn't armored in full regalia, but he did have his warglaives with him - not wanting to be caught unprepared in case there was another attack. His ever present blindfold was wrapped around his head, keeping the majority of his wild tumble of black hair from his face.
The night elf stalked into the inn, ignoring any stares as his horned head cocked slowly this way and that as if searching. Though not armored, he was still imposing; wearing comfortable leathers fit for travel or combat. The combination of vest and harness showed off the lean hard muscle and the expanse of vibrant swirling tattoos.
Ah, there she was. Toni was tucked away in a shadowed corner, leaning against the wall she was sitting next to. Wary, in case her twin sister was nearby, Zakkarius made his way over to the small warlock. Her magics were greatly subdued, which was better for her delicate human form. But the Demon Hunter was still very concerned nonetheless.
Lowering himself to perch on a stool next to her chair, Zakk leaned forward with his elbows on his knees. His blindfolded face was 'looking' straight at her intently, while he worked on getting an idea of her wellbeing.
"Toni." He stated simply, gruff voice soft. "I am here as promised."
Cleaning up after the night he spent in Karazhan was honestly rather unfruitful and really he was just lucky that they were able to rent a room in Goldshire just long enough for both of them to shower and then clean their clothes properly. Well, more Khadgar had and Medivh remained in his raven form until they were in the room. But, after that, Khadgar had decided that they would take the slow way up to Stormwind.
Really, he was in need of a distraction that wasn't based upon the fact that he had talked Medivh into helping the people of Azeroth with the threat the Legion posed and the night before's activities. And walking up the road to explain somethings that he had learnt off hand seemed to do the trick for the most part. It wasn't until they were at the gates that he realized the statue of him was still there.
"I do not know how much you know of the Dark Portal opening and my relocation to the Outlands... But it seems to have given those within Stormwind to put a statue of myself up. I shaved my beard solely so I wouldn't be bombarded with shock.... It's rather unflattering...."
Medivh had woken up the following day after the best rest he could recall having in a long time. After gathering their things and making sure the wards were satisfactory, they had teleported from Karazhan to arrive in Goldshire within a short travelling distance from Stormwind. Medivh was content to remain incognito in raven form, while Khadgar secured a room so they could wash their clothes and bathe. Only behind closed doors did Medivh resume his true form.
Nothing was spoken of about the night before - at least Khadgar didn't say anything, and so Medivh followed suit and didn't mention anything either. Of course it was on his mind among a myriad of other things. There was lots to consider and think about as well as reflect on.
After they and their clothes were clean, they broke their fast on simple fare before leaving to head to Stormwind. Medivh turned back into a raven for the short trip, perching on Khadgar's shoulder and simply observing. Remembering. Even during periods in his human form, the Magus was very quiet and introspective. Distracted by thoughts of years long ago.
Arriving at the gates of the city, Medivh's feathers ruffled as Khadgar's words cut through his thoughts. The raven blinked an intelligent eye in the Archmage's direction, communicating mentally for convenience with a simple spell. If he could have, he probably would have twisted his expression into one of distaste, but as a raven, his expressions were limited.
:I am aware of enough..: The Magus responded cryptically. Upon entering the gates, the statues came into view. They were hard to miss. :Hrm. Not a horrible likeness. A beard like that doesn't suit you though. Unshaven is better.: A long white beard suited someone more like the late Antonidas - not Khadgar.
"I want to find that offensive," Khadgar mused, shaking his head briefly before he began walking again. "But I'm sure many would agree."
The night before was stuck at the forefront of his mind and he sought to keep it buried away until -- honestly, until he could rationalize everything to himself and not sound like he was trying to convince himself of something he wasn't even sure of yet. He didn't have the time afforded to him to sort through his thoughts either, the Legion was pressing onwards and he was needed in the thick of things.
Quite honestly, he was just happy to have Medivh there to bounce things off of. Someone who understood the stress he was going through and knew his thought process enough to allow him insight. Last night had been a distraction, a weakness given into when he was shown it. It was undoubtedly the only time it would happen, he told himself firmly, emotions had gotten the better of both of them and he needed to remind himself that he had spent the last thirty years with his heart aching, it was too late to think of it being different.
Khadgar steered them both through the trade district and towards the mage district instead, wondering if he were to stop at the enchanting supply shop if they would have the things he needed to make some self cleaning enchants to save himself sometime. As well... They would need to stop at Lion's rest to pay his respects.
"We will be making a brief detour... I would like to show you the memorial they have build for Varian. There was no corpse to bring home, that I know of, so the casket should be empty..."
As they moved through the trade district, there was a point where Medivh spread his wings and took off to scout from above out of old habit. Plus he wanted to see Stormwind from a higher vantage point. He was never far from Khadgar however, and always remained within visible distance.
The Stormwind that Medivh was born and grew up in, was the city that was sacked long ago in the First War. Things were different now, but there was still some sense of familiarity. Such as the canals for instance. The Cathedral of Light still stood. Plus one of the districts was a small section of the original city that had been restored - the streets still a tangled warren of alleyways. The castle was in the same place, and though some of the wings were in the same general layout, it was obvious it had been renovated and rebuilt.
:So different now...: Came the quiet subdued murmur as Medivh alighted once more on Khadgar's shoulder - ruffling and arranging his feathers just so. He was able to re-establish the communication once back in physical contact. Khadgar mentioned a detour and the raven simply cocked his head.
:I don't mind taking the scenic route. It has been so long since I have been here in person. I have a lot of memories here.: The Magus murmured almost distantly, clearly in thought. He of course remembered Varian from afar - since at the time, Stormwind's late king was only a small boy. He supposed the large statue by the castle must be in Varian's likeness. Such a shame... Medivh thought to himself. He would have liked to know Llane's son if circumstances had been different.
"He chose to sacrifice himself over more lives, I'm told," Khadgar says as he wanders toward where the old park had lay and now held Lion's rest. That would be something else he would need to touch on, he supposes belatedly. The destruction brought on by the cataclysm, by Deathwing and well, he had a very interesting and reasonable excuse as to why he stayed the hell away during the dragon's siege.
His feet carried them to where they needed to be and the Archmage stood there, still as a rock, for a long minute in his solemnity for the life that was lost. The Great King that had been so brave to make a choice lesser men could not.
"Varian was only a few years younger than I and, after the seige upon Stormwind and the escape to Lordaeron, I like to think we bonded over it with Lothar in the background. I believe you would've found him agreeable in a way, he believed in the future over anything else. He wasn't good with words, but he was a definite warrior. His son.... Is not. I look forward to Anduin's path to the future."
The raven's head cocked this way and that as Medivh got a good look around when they entered Lion's Rest. This area of Stormwind had changed drastically from what he remembered. The memorial itself was beautifully crafted with stone and marble and was well tended to. Flowers were placed in various places on the steps and monument itself, most likely put there by mourners paying their respects. The entire area was on a cliff overlooking the sea, and the Magus could hear the waves crashing against the rocks below. It was a rhythmic and soothing sound.
:A good way to die..: He murmured softly at Khadgar's words. An honorable way to die. He would have liked to have a good death, but fate had written something else for him. Now that he was brought back, he continued to vow to try and undo all the wrong that he had done. It was a heavy weight to bear, but he would do it.
Ruffling his feathers, to try and shake off the melancholy and not wanting to concern Khadgar - Medivh thought for a few moments on what Khadgar told him.
:I didn't know Varian very well. He was only a small lad when I resided in Karazhan. It will be interesting to meet Llane's grandson.: After another pause, the raven blinked at Khadgar from where he perched on the Archmage's shoulder. :I would also like to visit Llane's resting place. And Lothar's at some point. It is the least I can do for my friend's.:
