THE BODY HEAT MEME

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

The Archmage's pale skin had goosebumps all over, causing the drying blood in places to shatter with the shivers that wracked him. There was not as much of the rust colored flecks as there were on the other, but it was still substantial. Khadgar had been forced to use the last of his mana to cauterize the more severe wounds on both him and Zakk.
The lack of mana - something he had not felt the drain of in years - had him dizzy and his vision blurring for a few seconds before it always refocused. It could have also been the three blows to the head he garnered from the Naga for attempting to cast something - or the more obvious smart ass comments on their lack of finesse on certain parts of torture, he would've been glad to teach them how to do such a thing properly if they had just given him the chance.
It was not a good day, he thought sourly, not at all how he had hoped the direction of his day was currently going.
He had not expected that when he had decided to join Zakkarius in his quest to find the pillar hidden in Aszuna. He was delighted that they had to steal mages uniforms - something he hadn't worn in years and sneak into the Academy. It was fascinating and he had more than a little bit of fun sneaking off to read some books he was absolutely not supposed to even know existed to leave Zakk with the task of actually retrieving the Pillar.
Of course, that had clearly gone to hell as when Khadgar had joined Zakk, they were caught unawares and both were to be knocked out and captured by two high ranking members of Queen Azshara's ranks. Wonderful day, truly. He had ripped skin from where he had been dragged and momentarily thought about the condition of his clothing if he had a road rash covering a large part of his body. Though, he supposed it didn't compare to the attempt at torture they had given.
Khadgar thought briefly of the Warlock and Magus that were undoubtedly fuming - or worse really. Khadgar vaguely thought the two would raze everything yo the ground should they not be found in a timely matter. Medivh, perhaps only slightly more dangerous than Zakk's pintsized friend and his own tormentor. He couldn't believe he actually hoped she found them and even left nothing but the smell of Fel and ashes of the Naga who had done this.
It doesn't hit him right away that he's began to lean against Zakk, both from his exhaustion and the heat the other put off. He grumbled under his breath and raised blue eyes to peer up along the side of the other's head to debate what to say.
"I am going to get a bit closer," he spoke with a harsh tinge to his voice, "if I am freezing I can only imagine how this forsaken cave feels to you."

Also, that wizard's hat had made him look like a complete doofus - and he normally didn't give a crap how he looked.
They had been stripped and disarmed, beaten, tortured and who knew what else when they were unconscious. Zakkarius for his part, was happy to offer insults and derisive taunts during part of the process. He'd experienced worse than this in his opinion. These assholes were amateurs. He'd gotten extra bindings both magical and physical for his efforts - as well as some extra beat down. He had laughed maniacally the whole time, seeming completely deranged - his mutilated face just adding to the image. He could still taste his own blood in his mouth as he slouched huddled against the rough cavern wall.
If anything, he proved to be quite the distraction to keep some of their more lethal attention from the Archmage. He too had gotten some 'tough love' from the Naga, but at least he was alive. The resistance against the Legion couldn't lose Khadgar - so the demon hunter did what he could to keep the Naga pissed off at him.
They had done something to him - that drained his energies quite badly. If they had taken any more, the demon within him could have easily taken control or eradicated him entirely. The demonic presence writhed within him - seeking more energy and life force. It was a testament to Zakkarius's self control that he didn't simply take whatever he could from Khadgar by force. He didn't even have it in him to try moving away when the shivering Archmage leaned against him. In all honesty he wanted to recoil from the other man's flesh. His control was ragged enough all ready.
Zakkarius's head tilted towards Khadgar's at the other man's words. Yes, the cavern was dreadfully comfortable, and yes, he was freezing his purple ass off. He was certain that his balls were probably dancing with his tonsils by now he was so damned cold. He was an Illidari however. He would endure. Through the constant haze of throbbing pain, chills and almost feverish lust - Zakkarius offered Khadgar one of his slow creepy smiles - his fanged teeth shockingly white against his much darker skin in the dim light. His ravaged empty eyes were squinted dangerously from the angular planes of his damaged face.
"Are you sure you really want to....Archmage?" He growled, part menacing and part...flirting? If anything, he was trying to insert some humor, in his own disturbing way.

Ah. There was what Khadgar was expecting, of course the Demon Hunter would not disappoint him with it. The menacing leer and flirtatious voice truly were exactly what the Archmage needed - well, in a nonsarcastic way, it was, otherwise... Truly what he needed. It did serve the purpose Khadgar needed of it at the very least and that was really all Khadgar could hope from it.
Zakkarius was alive, conscious and able enough to be an utter creep at him in such a situation... it calmed his nerves slightly as the worry of both the warlock and master mage began to pique no matter how briefly he allowed it too.
"I can assure you, I am not doing this willingly. If I could summon some fire it would have been done already." Khadgar kept his voice low, though he did snap at the other out of irritation of what Modera was going to say to him. Undoubtedly she would lecture him over how he should not be going gallavanting anywhere without a proper guard.
Of course, perhaps that was why he chose to go with the Demon Hunter... the risk and fleeting danger it posed. He did not see this coming, however and perhaps he should've. He should have seen this outcome and prepared for it, instead of getting his nose wet with knowledge he would have never have gotten his hands on otherwise. Such a burden is the life of a curious mage who didn't straighten his priorities in the face of things he didn't know.
"Just as I would have used a portal to remove us from this wretched place if I had the mana."

That would be entertaining too. In a sense, imagining the death cries of their captors helped distract him from the temptation to drain Khadgar for every amount of life energy he had. He didn't want to think about how delicious and powerful his soul would be. He shuddered a little in his bonds, muscles tensing.
Zakk uttered a 'tch' and then a resigned sigh - his horned head bowing. If he wasn't so damned weakened, he would have been able to fight against his bonds more effectively and got them both out of this shit hole.
"Hnn, fine." He grumbled. "Just don't complain if I try to devour your soul. Which I bet is delicious by the way..." He quipped with another leer.

"I'd be more offended if you didn't try," Khadgar murmured to his companion. He tucked his chin closer to his chest and breathed in raggedly to center himself from what was to come. His body was weaker than he'd like, so he doubted he could even beat the Demon Hunter off if he actually needed too.
Dare he suggest that he actually felt safe with the hungry demon-bound elf? He really did not want to think on the fact that the answer was yes as if he said such a thing outloud he feared it going to Zakk's head. He was already irritating enough without having such a thing to croon at Medivh just to rile him up.
Speaking of, he actually worried for the fury of the Magus and young Warlock being unleashed in tandem. It sounded like they would be rather effective together in their anger and he truly didn't want to think to hard on that.
"May I ask a question, Zakk?"
