Ace sighed contently as he relaxed on the deck of his skiff. He was tethered to the dock but didn't feel like heading into town just yet. The island he was visiting was a frequent stop of his typically when he was on long missions for Whitebeard and he knew he was more or less safe where he was.

His dark eyes scanned the heavens as the stars glistened and twinkled endlessly in the distance. His hands rested behind his head, one leg propped up against the other as he relaxed to the gentle sway of the tide coming in. It was times like this he let his mind wander.

Wander where? You might ask. To a certain white haired marine mostly. Ever since their meeting/fight in Alabasta and their slow evolution into a somewhat couple he found himself wanting to see the man more often. As it was, it had been a good 4 months since he had last set foot on Smoker's ship and 4 months since he had shared a bed with anyone. He let a small smile cross his face, perhaps he should pay the old man a visit after all. He sat up, stretched, and grabbed his things before hopping ship and heading into town to try and gather intel on where his favorite marine was stationed.

"And cover up this perfection? Are you insane?!" Ace laughed and poked at Smokers butt. "You really need to stop doing this, Taisa. I am not a sack of potatoes or somehting, I can walk you know. Though when you do this it does give me an excellent view of your very toned and shapely ass. I do so enjoy this view." He teased sliding his hands into Smokers jeans and teasing his skin with his warm hands,

"You enjoy it too much for me to quit," Smoker quipped back and continued walking, this time not giving into the urge to jump. Maybe he was getting used to it, which should be a warning sign. "And you do realize your ass is also conveniently in my reach like this, right?" Smoker smirked and patted Ace's ass.

"Yes, but I like it when you play with my ass so it doesn't bother me one bit." Ace chuckled. Ace should have paid attention to the warning signs of Smoker's crew no longer sending up alarms when his skiff approached their ship and tethered up under a certain port hole. But he chose not to care. He was a little too attached to the man carrying him to worry about the fact that he was kind of welcome aboard a marine ship so long as he and Smoker were together.

That could change though, one day he could do that and wind up wearing sea stone on his way to Impel Down...but to him the risk was worth it. He would rather have this while he could then spend the remainder of his life wishing he had taken the chance. He made a promise a long time ago to try his best to not live with regret and if he had ignored the longing for the grey haired man he would have been sentencing himself to a lifetime of regret for lost love.
