No-Affiliation Island

[That's right, you've just sailed into a pan-dimensional island where your petty affiliations mean nothing to the powers that be. Marine? Pirate? Thief? Hero? You ain't gotta fight nobody here. This is an island of PEACE AND LOVE. And possibly the occasional hippy eating a scone.

There's a lively tavern near the docks, it's doors wide open. There's good music, a well-stocked bar, surprisingly edible food, a large swimming pool, and all the other amenities any weary traveler may want. Come on in!

Just don't mess with that boar's head over the mantel. There's a rumor that the locals will get very upset if you do.]

[Fujiko is chilling out on a water mattress in that pool. Now this? This is the life. A cute bathing suit, sunglasses, a magazine if she gets bored, and drinks if she feels inclined? It really doesn't get better than this.]

[Robin's taken a similar approach, though she's carefully kicking her feet in the water to move around. She hasn't seen Fujiko in ages- since before the crew arrived at Sabaody, back when the Grand Line was honestly a lot stranger than usual.]

Well, well. I didn't think I'd ever have the pleasure of running into you again.

[Peers up over the sunglasses and jumps off the water mattress to swim over.]

[WELL. More or less.] How've you been?

Isolated, lonely, exhilarated, thrilled, hopeful. The usual. You?

[Grumpy Mc.Grump-Grump-Tsun is sitting at the bar, drinking down the rum. The peaceful feeling of the island, that being a marine doesn't matter actually quite disconcerts him. The lack of desire to instantly pound all the pirates' faces into wood until it splinters? That is somehow very unnerving. And so he's just going to keep right on drinking, displaying his jacket for all the world to see. Justice is never on break, but this is as close as it gets to one.]

[Ace walked into the bar and scanned the crowd. His eyes caught sight of a familiar jacket and smirked. He sauntered towards the man and took a seat beside him]

Fancy meeting you here, Taisa.

Portgas. [Growling voice a nod of acknowledgement. He should probably arrest the brat but eh... peace and love and more drinks await. He'll get to it on his own time.]

[Somehow this seemed reversed. Wasn't he supposed to be the one walking into bars and taking note of the pirate being there?]

[Ace ordered a rum and sipped it while he enjoyed the prickly company beside him] Where's Tashigi-chan? It's rare seeing you without your lovely swordswoman around. You didn't abandon her with the hippies outside did you?

[Ace walked into the bar and promptly took a seat and began to order more food then one thought humanly consumable by one person. Once it arrived be began to shovel it in as fast as he could enjoying every bite. He grew up having to eat like this or lose the food so please pay him no mind XD. Halfway through a plate of rice he fell face first into it, snoring loudly, hand still holding his fork. He looked dead but thankfully he was just having a narcoleptic fit and by the time people began to panic he sat up and wiped his face off, finishing the bite in his mouth and then continuing with his meal]

Man this is good! Thanks for the food! [sitting back a little he patted his full belly and smiled brightly.]

Now for some exploring!

[Pardon Robin, she's just going to be staring for a moment.]

Aren't you supposed to be dead, Firefist Ace?

(glances over) Huh? DEAD!? I'M NOT DEAD!!! (looks over self quickly for injuries and stares wide eyed at Robin) Is this heaven!?

[Her eyes dart to the side, where a very drunk lout is smashing a bottle of booze and then being "escorted" out of the bar. The message is clear: Don't make a fuss on the island of Love and Peace.]

Hardly.

[She smiles, though.]

What's the last thing you remember, out of curiosity?

Exploring, eh? Got some place in mind?

Marco! Man when did you get here? Where's Pops? [is smiling super wide because hey, he hasn't seen you in ages. Last time was when he was leaving to chase down Blackbeard]

[Tight grin.] Nearby, I just came to get a bite, eh. Thought now I'm wondering if they even have anything left.

[Robin leans against the railing on one of the upper floors, watching the people in the swimming pool below. She's reminded of Dead-End Island, or even Maerville. It probably has to do with the layout of the tavern... And possibly the bartender, who apparently gets around almost as much as the Strawhats do.]

[Standing next to her, leans his back to the railing, looking for all the world like he's relaxed and owns the island.]

Well well, fancy seeing you here, eh?

Surprised we made it this far in to the New World?

This far so soon perhaps.

But I can't say I'm disappointed.

[Shirahoshi's a veritable fish out of water... or would be, if it weren't for the bottom-most floor being comprised of a giant swimming pool. Not that the size matters, No-Affiliation Island has decided she ought to be the size of a normal 16 year old girl for the time being.

What on vearth is the Mermaid Princess doing in a raucous place like this, you may ask yourself? Well, the truth is, she isn't entirely sure herself. But it's quite a lively place, so in spite of being surrounded by a number of possibly dangerous and ill-meaning people, Shirahoshi finds herself enjoying the festive atmosphere.]

[ Well, it's no surprise where the Straw Hat Captain could be found. He's in the tavern stealing every single last bit of food he can get his grubby hands on, stealing from friend and foe alike.

At the same time as he stuff's himself, he's swaying back and forth to the music that's playing. He doesn't even notice the glares he's gaining from his food theft, he's just blissfully ignorant as always. ]

(heading to bed but Ace has to see his bro!!!)

LUFFY! (is sitting down the bar a bit eating his own food when he spots him!)

woo! Ace! :D

[ Luffy doesn't really notice anything out of the ordinary, like his dead brother sitting at the bar eating. In fact, he manages to not notice him so much that Luffy just swipes the food from Ace and empties the plate into his mouth. ]

[Robin uses her Devil's Fruit ability to block one of Luffy's attempts at stealing her food. Instead of getting angry, she giggles.]

You act like you haven't eaten in days.

[ Have a pout from Luffy. Your Captain is very displeased with you Robin. ]

So? I'm hungry!
