He was glad to be alive as well, even despite the possible drawbacks that his surviving might entail. It was entirely possible that they could overcome whatever nefarious plans Gul'dan had in store involving him. Once they'd managed to overcome whatever lurked in wait, then he could once again hopefully turn his attention to aiding the kingdom and his son.

He wasn't certain it would be wise for Anduin to tend to his injuries, as that might be exactly what Gul'dan was expecting and what might end up causing Anduin harm. The uncertainty no doubt showed in his lack of an immediate answer. "It may not be right, but Gul'dan might also be expecting you to tend to me. If that is the case...I don't want you hurt trying to speed up my recovery."
