Something was wrong, that much was clear as the words came from the Worgen and it was only driven home even harder as the name of the Banshee Queen was growled out and every word that seemed to follow.

As soon after there were more words and smoke. He had stumbled back and coughed from the smoke, though as he was knocked down by the lunging white wolf Khadgar could feel all breath being sucker punched out of him.

Khadgar shouted, voice showing his pain as he could see spots of white and blue in his gaze from how hard his head slammed against the ground and his chest burned from the gouge he garnered from the initial lunge. He was at least glad he wasn't wearing his robes, even if they would've protected him somewhat from that claw mark.
It took a brief second but the archmage gathered the energy in his hand and attempted to use it to propel the rabid Worgen off of him before he could get maimed any more.
